You can support the activities of Budapest Bike Maffia and thus homeless people living in shelters or on the streets with material donations. We welcome the following donations:
Our Vitamin Commando team prepares sandwiches every Monday and Friday, 18:00 to 19:30 and we can receive your donation in these time slots. We deliver your donations to homeless shelters, night shelters and people living on the streets.
WE WELCOME THE FOLLOWING DONATIONS:
If you donate food and you feel like it and have the time, stay with us and let’s prepare the sandwiches together using ingredients you brought. You can also check out what it’s like when a team of enthusiastic bikers hit the road to deliver your donations as soon as possible. Please help our work by bringing good quality and clean clothes and unopened, not expired food.

Ingredients for our Vitamin Commando programme:
Sliced bread, margarine, sliced cold cuts, cheese, cucumber, paprika, banana, chocolate, cookies
Food:
liver paste, pâté, tin of ready meal/warm meal (the type you can open without an opener), packet soup, chocolate, sweets, cookies, instant coffee, 0.5 litre water or juice
Toiletries and beauty products:
men’s and women’s shower gel, shampoo, deodorant, body lotion, hand and face cream, wipes, toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, lip balm, tissues, sanitary towels, tampons, cotton wool, herbal creams: comfrey, calendula, etc.
Vitamins:
Vitamin C, multivitamins, effervescent tablets
Medication, healthcare tools:
prescription-free painkillers, Betadine tincture or ointment, band-aid, gauze, dressings
Other:
public transport single ticket or block of tickets
Clothes, textiles, warm stuff:
All year round: warm blankets, sleeping bags, space/emergency blankets, hand and foot warmers
(IMPORTANT: we cannot make use of duvets and bed linen!)
In summertime: blankets, towels, socks, underwear, raincoats
In wintertime: warm socks, waterproof winter coats, scarves, warm hats, gloves
